About EditShare

It’s all about working together

EditShare is all about collaboration. Our products incorporate forward-thinking features that improve production and unleash creativity. Workflow engineered from ingest to archive, EditShare technology is a quantum leap ahead of its peers.

A history of firsts

EditShare was the first and only non-Avid solution to offer Avid Project sharing; the first storage solution to support 10 Gigabit Ethernet; the first to offer true Project Sharing for Apple Final Cut Pro and the first to deliver a portable shared storage solution with EditShare Field.

A future filled with boundary breaking innovation

In 2008, EditShare introduced Complete Collaboration, an end-to-end suite of media management solutions – production asset management, extreme shared storage, and archiving. In 2009, EditShare acquired Lightworks and Geevs, expanding their Complete Collaboration product line to include non-linear editing and playout automation. In 2010, EditShare announced Lightworks Open Source, the industry’s first large-scale open source program for a non-linear editing application. “It is really incredible to look back to the beginning and see the remarkable growth we have experienced in such a short period of time. In addition to our shared storage solutions, we now have products for ingest, asset management, playout, and archiving that serve just about every aspect of broadcast and post-production. We owe this tremendous success to our customers who are just as passionate about the EditShare technology. We look forward working with them closely in 2011 and beyond.” Andy Liebman, Founder and CEO of EditShare.
